Recruiters using RecruitrKit are typically the Data Controllers for candidate data collected through their job boards.

4. How Candidate Data Is Collected
Candidate data is collected when a candidate:
Applies for a job via a RecruitrKit-powered job board
Uploads a CV or submits an application form
Interacts with marketplace-enabled recruitment workflows
By submitting an application through RecruitrKit, candidates explicitly acknowledge and accept that their personal data will be stored in the RecruitrKit candidate database and processed for recruitment-related purposes.

6. Candidate Database & Ongoing Processing
When a candidate applies for a role:
Their data is added to the RecruitrKit candidate database
Data may be matched against current and future roles
Recruiters may contact candidates regarding relevant opportunities
Candidates understand and agree that their data may be retained for future recruitment purposes unless they request deletion.
7. Data Sharing
Candidate data may be shared with:
The recruiting agency or employer advertising the role
Authorised recruiters working on the role via the Marketplace
Integrated CRMs and recruitment systems
RecruitrKit does not sell personal data.
8. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for recruitment purposes or legal compliance. Recruiters control retention periods, subject to GDPR requirements.
